I needed a Nexus Letted and not only did Lude Ricard develop one based off my records and ailments, I was able to use that letter to get rated on a previously denied claim. Extremely satisfied with Sunnyside's services and highly recommend Lude.

I highly recommend Sunnyside ! I had been suffering from sciatica pain down my leg for 3 weeks going on a month before I went to Sunnyside. I was working with a chiropractor 2 days a week and an acupuncturist 1-2 days a week but it only gave me temporary relief. The pain was worse than I had ever experienced in my 10+ years dealing with sciatica issues. I literally walked in crouched over trying to avoid as much pain as possible since the pain never stopped regardless of my body position.

The physical therapist was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about my issue. She worked on my leg for maybe 45 minutes and it immediately felt better ! Almost to the point where it was gone ! She then showed me exercises and stretches to do at home and in 2 more days of doing them my sciatica issue was completely gone !

Disclaimer: I'm not their patient but I bring my mother here for her physical therapy. And trust me, they are my saviors. Thanks to them, my mom doesn't complain to me so much about her physical pain (And she complains a lot about everything)!

My mom had years of shoulder and back pain due to her job. In fact, it was due to her work compensation referral we landed here. We were here for a few months then sadly had to switch due to the work compensation. My mother tried three other different places and even stated nothing matched like Lude's understanding and healing techniques. She argued to come back here too!

And now we're back and hopefully staying here for good whenever my mother has pains. I enjoy bringing my mom here because I even feel calm and relaxed just being in their waiting room.

After seeing a different physical therapist for my back injury for about 6 months, I had not seen any results.
I came to see Lude and she walked me through helpful stretches, taught me how to do them at home, and did an amazing job stretching me out and massaging the problem areas on my back. She was great at checking up on my progress and moving me in the right direction for healing. I immediately began to feel better.
I'm happy to say that after about 6 visits I have almost no remaining back pain, and I am finally able to begin rock climbing again after 1 1/2 of injury. I would highly recommend coming to Lude for a friendly and effective treatment.

Additionally, she is well versed in how to draft Veterans Affair NEXUS letters that are invaluable to Veterans who are trying to change their disability status. Lude is the only Medical Authority who I have found in San Diego County, who understands and can draft Veteran Affairs NEXUS letters. After going through a less than satisfying experience with the nearby hospital, I called around and found Sunnside Rehab. I suffered a stroke in 2013 and wanted a program that would be a bit more challenging in my recovery. I looked for a place that would give me a kind of circuit training program that could also help me with my physical limitations.

From day one, Lude promised and delivered. When I needed a push, she gave it. When I needed help, she provided it. When I was hurting, she helped fix it. And she did it all with a warm smile and great conversation.

It's been about two years now and I'm stilll continuing my program with her. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Owner Lude is welcoming, funny, nice, helpful and it just feels good to be around her! And she's brilliant, why? Because she had the wisdom to hire Ivis, an awesome massage therapist. I have knots that are numb they're so bad, but he was able to target them and give enough pressure. And he clearly enjoys what he does, he truly found his life calling. I bought the monthly membership deal $99 / month which gets you two massages a month. It's such a wonderful value.

Have nothing but good things to say about Sunnyside Physical Therapy and Wellness. The office is easy to find, and the parking is readily available. From the moment you walk in you are treated with the utmost respect. Lude is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She is compassionate and patient, carefully explaining things along the way so you're educated and can maintain the improvement. She took the time to explain my injury and answered all my questions. She gives clear explanations for the purpose of each exercise or procedure. At the beginning of each visit, she asks about your pain level that day and uses that information to determine exactly what she is going to do. She goes out of her way to make sure the exercises she has given you to do are working and at each appointment always adds a couple of more. She works diligently to help you get on the path to recovery. She utilizes different techniques - massage, exercises - with and without weights, heat and or cold with stem, etc. Lude makes sure you perform each exercise accurately. I strongly recommend this practice.
