Piedmont Columbus Regional set to host 2024 Piedmont Classic

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation is preparing to host its 2024 Piedmont Classic - Driven by Mercedes-Benz - event.

The two-day event is slated for April 22-23 beginning at 9:30 a.m. - County Club of Columbus. There will be a pickleball event called ‘Pickle for Piedmont’. proceeds from that event will go to the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional.

The Piedmont Classic Tennis Event will also take place on the 22nd. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Participants can enjoy breakfast before morning drills with National Champions from Columbus State University’s Men’s & Women’s Tennis Teams.

The Piedmont Classic Golf Tournament will take place on the 23rd. Registration and the morning flight begins at 8 a.m. Lunch is available for all players beginning at 11:30 am. The afternoon flight begins at 1:30 pm and is followed by a trophy presentation to Low Net and Low Gross Teams at the end of the day.

the John B. Amos Cancer Center and pickleball will benefit the future Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital. The event has raised more than $3.6 million to date.
