THIRD ROUND OF THE CLUB CAR CHAMPIONSHIP TEEING OFF SATURDAY MORNING AT THE DEER CREEK COURSE AT THE LANDINGS GOLF AND ATHLETIC CLUB. ....IT'S NO SECRET GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY IS WELL REPRESENTED IN THE TOURNAMENT WITH THREE EAGLES IN THE HUNT. TAKE STEPHEN FISK ENTERING THE THIRD ROUND WITH A SHARE OF THE LEAD AFTER FIRING A 65 ON FRIDAY. PLUS MASON WILLIAMS AND BEN CARR TIED FOR 26. LOOKING TO CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD, STEPHEN IS PICKING UP RIGHT WHERE HE LEFT OFF FRIDAY. THIS WITH THREE BIRDIES ON THE FRONT TAKE A LOOK AT THE THIRD ROUND TAKE A LOOK AT THE THIRD ROUND LEADERBOARD.... HOW ABOUT A TWO- WAY TIE FOR FIRST PLACE. FORMER GEORGIA SOUTHERN STANDOUT STEVEN FISK IN THIRD PLACE AFTER TWO BOGEYS IN THE ROUND DROPS HIM TO TEN-UNDER PAR. FORMER EAGLES, BEN CARR AND MASON WILLIAMS ONCE AGAIN TIED. CARR WITH FIVE BIRDIES SATURDAY ON THE BACK NINE...WILLIAMS WITH A BOGEY FREE BACK NINE THAT INCLUDED AN EAGLE ON EIGHTEEN. Former Georgia Southern standouts look to carry momenntumn into Sunday's final round

The third round of the club car championship teed off Saturday morning at the Deer Creek course at the Landings Golf and Athletic Club. It's no secret Georgia Southern University is well represented in the tournament with three former Eagles in the hunt.Stephen Fisk entered the third round with a share of the lead after firing a 65 on Friday, while Mason Williams and Ben Carr were tied for 26th heading into the third round.Fisk picked up right where he left off with three birdies on the front nine however with two bogeys on the day, he fell to third place (-10) one shot off the lead.Carr bogeyed once on the front nine but bounced back tremendously with five birdies on the back nine — including three in a row.Williams had his share of struggles on the front nine with two bogeys however with a bogey free back nine that included two birdies and an eagle on the 18th hole helped him fire a 32 on the back nine.LEADERBOARD:Kevin Roy, T1 (-11)Philip Knowles, T1 (-11)Steven Fisk, Third Place (-10)Ben Carr, T12 (-7)Mason Williams, T12 (-7)The final round of the Club Car Championship tees off at 7:55 a.m. Sunday morning.
