THE SENATOR SAYS ACCESS TO STUDENT FINANCIAL AID WOULD BOOST ENROLLEMENT. NEW TONIGH- T TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR YOU TO DONATE YOUR NEW OR GENTLY WORN SHOES TO A GOOD CAUS E. THE RITE CARE CENTER AT GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY IS ACCEPTING THE DONATIONS THROUGH FRIDAY. THE SHOES ARE BEING COLLECTED AND THEN WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS IN THI RD WORLD COUNTRIES WHO SELL THE SHOES TO HELP SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES. <> DR. Time is running out for you to donate your new or gently worn shoes to a good cause.The Rite Care Center at Georgia Southern University is accepting donations through Friday.The shoes are being collected and then will be distributed to small business owners in third world countries who sell the shoes to help support their families.“There’s over 300 million people who may not have shoes," said Dr. Tory Candea of Rite Care Center at Georgia Southern University. "And also provides funds for the graduate students in the Communications, Sciences and Disorders Program at Georgia Southern University.”If you would like to make a donation between now and Friday, Dec. 10 you can call the Rite Care Center at 912-344-2735 or drop them by their office in the Armstrong Center during normal business hours.
