Covid-19 protocols forces UNCW to withdraw from CAA women’s golf championship

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The UNCW women’s golf team won’t attend this weekend’s Colonial Athletic Association Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
According to a news release from university, the team was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to Covid-19 protocols within the Seahawks’ program.
A spokesperson for UNCW declined to provide any further comment on the matter.
