Platt Fields Market Garden is a community market garden based in Platt Fields Park, Manchester and part of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) network. We sell produce, supply local restaurants and develop our own fruit, herb and vegetable based products.
Everything we do revolves around food, community and wellbeing. On top of producing wonderful vegetables grown with organic techniques, we provide a space for a whole host of other activities and events throughout the year.

Events
We run a diverse programme of events at PFMG, from horticultural workshops to garden take overs by local food producers to arts and community cohesion events. If you're interested in being part of an event or hosting your own on the garden please email events@wearemud.org.

We regularly update our social media accounts with upcoming events and workshops so please give us a follow. Our Patrons also receive early access to event ticket releases as a thank you for supporting us.
Cafe
We now are open 7 days a week for our café from 9am - 3pm. We will be selling barista coffee, breakfast & herbal teas and soft drinks as well as sweet bakes, soups, breads and other savoury items such as tarts etc.
We try to use as much as the produce grown on site in our cooking, preserving & baking so expect lovely seasonal veg & herbs in all our offerings.
The market garden is very family friendly so a great location to bring children and dogs. It is outside & fenced venue with cover from the elements. The seating is set within beautiful market garden surroundings.
The Frog House
The Frog House is our workshop and events area at PFMG. It is available for use by the community and features a sheltered indoor workshop space with workbenches, an outdoor sheltered awning with tables and seating, an outdoor sink area and power.
