Europe’s New Postwar Era

Monday, Nov. 14 - 6 p.m. Auditorium and YouTube Live

1918, 1945 and 1989 – key years in the 20th century when people tried to turn war into durable peace. Join Martin Conway, the Kinder Institute and Oxford (Balliol College) Professor of Contemporary European History, as he considers how these past attempts might inform how Europe’s leaders and cooperative structures navigate the fall-out from the 2022 crisis in Ukraine. A public reception at 5 p.m. will be followed by a lecture beginning at 6 p.m.

In partnership with the Kinder Institute at the University of Missouri.

Reception and lecture free with RSVP | Auditorium and YouTube Live
