If you love learning and developing your skills then you’ll want to take a look at my online monthly membership for quilters: The Quilt Hive™. It’s a place where you can feel inspired to be an industrious little quilter bee, learning new skills and implementing these in your fun projects. When you join you get immediate access to heaps of video classes on a wide variety of patchwork & quilting techniques. A great place to start are the Cutting for Accuracy and Precision Piecing Modules, you’re sure to pick up lots of tips and tricks to improve your overall sewing experience. Then dive into any of the other classes that take your fancy. A class is added each month and we also have a Live Q&A session on Zoom each month too. Do you struggle to quilt your quilts on a domestic machine? Check out my top ten tips for how to successfully quilt on a domestic machine.
Are you looking to learn how to free motion quilt? Then I have the perfect course for you. After years of teaching this skill as a one day, ‘in person’ class, the pandemic showed me that teaching it online, over a period of time, led to better results for my students. Instead of feeling exhausted at the end of an intensive day class, they are able to learn at their own pace throughout a 4 week period from pre-recorded video lessons, with live weekly support from me. I have one course aimed at Complete Beginners and a Follow on course to help build on existing knowledge and skill. Click the images below to find out more.
I love running Block of the Month (BOM) programs. I often take an unconventional approach to block of the month programs as my designs tend to be modern and less block orientated. They focus on learning specific skills or techniques. During the year, each month, participants will learn how to piece a new block or unit via written instructions and video lessons. The BOM programs are also supported with monthly LIVE Q&A sessions to help you with any parts you are struggling with.
My past block of the month programs will gradually be made available as self study programs. The Glitter Ball Quilt is already available in that form. See all courses available here.
Quilters love my quilting and sewing themed enamel pins and cards. They make perfect gifts for their quilting friends but also for themselves! Check them all out in the Shop, or click the ones you like below.
