This report is in part based on an article by the brilliant journalist and author Jon Rappoport, whom I have been following for the last 30 years. Naturally, he is a controversial character, but he always digs deep and applies a holistic overview to everything he touches. As in the quoted summary below of a series of more detailed articles on the present Corona Virus scare.

Personally, I always get suspicious when mainstream media and official medical sources try to whip up a fear in the public, reminiscent of hysteria.

Nowadays it seems that every health problem that comes along – not infrequently caused by authorized or experimental treatments or drugs – and catches the attention of mainstream media, is forthwith promoted to “pandemic”.

To me it´s furthermore crystal clear that when something attracts such attention by the entire media choir, it´s because of pressure from their owners/puppet-masters, due to powerful vested interests, either financial or political.

To put it all into a reasonable perspective, I always check available statistics for more common, established ills or epidemics, such as the seasonal “ordinary” influenza.

For those figures in the USA, which serve as the global “norm” for others to compare with, we turn to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US agency charged with tracking and investigating public health trends as part of the US Public Health Services (PHS) under the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

As it turns out, the CDC estimates that (“normal”, annual) influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010. And that´s only in the USA! – Even if the US may have the highest reported incidence of influenza in the world, it still only represents about 4% of the global population.

Compare that to media´s hyped-up reports of the death toll of the Corona Virus in a country of some 1.435 billion inhabitants, according to recent estimates.

As I am writing this report, the latest figures are from 7^th February 2020 at 12 am GMT (British time). And they claim

Coronavirus Update (Live): 31,532 Cases and 638 Deaths …

I know we are still only about 3 months into this “pandemic”, but that represents more than half of a normal annual influenza season.

Actually, in the last century there have only been 3 cases of what has traditionally been named pandemics: The “Spanish Flue” a hundred years ago (1918-1920), The Asian Flue in 1957. and the Hong Kong Flue in 1968.
