2022 Top 300 Broadcom MASTERS

Society for Science and Broadcom Foundation are proud to announce the Top 300 competitors in the 2022 Broadcom MASTERS® — the nation’s premier STEM competition for middle school students. The Broadcom MASTERS seeks to inspire young scientists, engineers and innovators to solve the grand challenges of the 21st Century. The students, selected from 1,807 entrants, come from 35 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. Top states include California (27%), Florida (12%), Texas (8%), Pennsylvania (6%) and Utah (5%). Most students, 62%, go to public school, with 28% in private schools. The remaining students are in home, magnet or online schools.

30 finalists are chosen from this select pool to compete for more than $100,000 in awards and prizes. Finalists will be announced September 21.
