Greeting SELC PK Families,
Spring is in the air here at SELC! Stay tuned for more information regarding SPRING PICTURE DAY which will be the first week in April!
Just to reiterate, IF YOUR CHILD ATTENDS ENFIELD HEAD START, INTEGRATED PK, OR THE PK STEAM ACADEMY, you do NOT have to register your child for K as the PK registration will roll over to Kindergarten!

Next week is a full week of school!
As of March 18th, masks continue to remain in effect for all BOE PK programs at SELC.
- The application link for school year 2022-2023 is LIVE! You can apply for Head Start, Integrated PK peer seats, or the PK STEAM Academy by visiting www.enfieldschools.org and clicking on STOWE EARLY LEARNING CENTER PREK APPLICATION! IF YOU'RE 3 YEAR OLD IS ALREADY ENROLLED IN HEAD START AND YOU WISH TO CONTINUE IN THE PROGRAM, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REAPPLY!
- In the event you need to contact the school with COVID related questions or information, please email Nurse Jen jmaier@enfieldschools.org and Jaclyn Valley at jvalley@enfieldschools.org to ensure that we are able to respond in a timely manner.
Exciting News!
Enfield Public School’s 56th Annual Arts Festival sponsored by The Woman’s Club of Enfield will be held on Friday, April 1st, 7-9p and Saturday, April 2nd, 12-3p in the EHS Cafeteria. This year’s theme is Upside Down, the festival will include original artwork from all PK-12 schools, large-scale art installations connected to the theme of Upside Down, a raffle benefitting Visual Arts scholarship for EHS Seniors, the 6th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for the Enfield Food Shelf, and live music and art by EPS students.
Artwork created by our Eaglets will be featured!

Consumer Product Safety Commission Recalls Announced March 16th:
Health and Wellness
- Per the Governor's orders, our PK"ers" are required to mask until further notice
- There are plenty of mask breaks built into the day during outside, meal, and rest times
- Please send an extra mask in the event one gets soiled so we can switch it out
- Frequent handwashing will be in place
- Vigilant cleaning of classroom materials will occur on a consistent basis
- See the daily health attestation below. This is placed at your child's classroom door. Please review this and if your child is exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please do not hesitate to reach out to nurse Jen! jmaier@enfieldschools.org 860-763-8858!
