Eaglet Gazette
Enfield Head Start, Integrated Pre-K, PK STEAM Academy
May 6, 2022
Greetings SELC Families,
Thank you for all of the appreciation you have shared with us this week for teacher appreciation! As a staff, we want to thank you for being INCREDIBLE partners in your child's education this year! We value strong family partnerships AND YOU DESERVE A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE for all you do to support your child's healthy development!!!
This Sunday is Mother's Day on the calendar, and we wish all of you a Happy Day! In the spirit of equity, curiosity, and honoring diverse family structures, I encourage you to use this as an opportunity to talk about differences in families that you know and be curious about other family structures that might be different from yours. Kids can be aware of differences from 2 years of age! This is a great opportunity to foster respect for and appreciation of differences in families.
A FEW REMINDERS
- We will be having a Family Night at the Enfield Fire Department 200 Phoenix Avenue from 5:30-7:00! More information to come!
- The weather remains inconsistent and layers are your best bet in helping to keep your little one comfortable during inside and outside adventures!
- In the event you need to contact the school with COVID related questions or information, please email Nurse Jen jmaier@enfieldschools.org and Jaclyn Valley at jvalley@enfieldschools.org to ensure that we are able to respond in a timely manner.
With warmer weather in our near future, we encourage you to apply sunscreen to your Eaglet before school!
