Eaglet Gazette
Enfield Head Start, Integrated Pre-K, PK STEAM Academy
May 20, 2022
Greetings SELC Families,
With just 23 days left of school year 2021-2022, I encourage you to continue to send your Eaglet to school, keep up with program and teacher updates, and ask any questions you have about the summer or next year! While it may feel like the end of the year, we still have A LOT of teaching and learning planned in PK!
A FEW REMINDERS
- With warm weather upon us, be sure to send your Eaglet in (or with) sturdy playground shoes. Sandals are comfortable for the classroom, but can become a safety issue outside. Your child can always switch before heading outside and again after outdoor adventure.
- Wednesday May 25th is an early release for Eaglets:
INTEGRATED PK: NO PM SESSIONS HELD
HEAD START AND PK STEAM: DISMISSAL AT 12:30
- NO SCHOOL MONDAY MAY 30TH
- In the event you need to contact the school with COVID related questions or information, please email Nurse Jen jmaier@enfieldschools.org and Jaclyn Valley at jvalley@enfieldschools.org to ensure that we are able to respond in a timely manner.

Health and Wellness
- Per the Governor's orders, our PK"ers" are required to mask until further notice
- There are plenty of mask breaks built into the day during outside, meal, and rest times
- Please send an extra mask in the event one gets soiled so we can switch it out
- Frequent handwashing will be in place
- Vigilant cleaning of classroom materials will occur on a consistent basis
- See the daily health attestation below. This is placed at your child's classroom door. Please review this and if your child is exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please do not hesitate to reach out to nurse Jen! jmaier@enfieldschools.org 860-763-8858!
