Emergency Drills
At SELC, safety is our top priority. To ensure that our Eaglets are well-prepared for any unexpected situations, we'll begin conducting emergency drills in the coming weeks.
Why Emergency Drills? 🚨
Emergencies can happen at any time, and our goal is to equip your child with the knowledge and confidence to react calmly and safely. Through these drills, we'll teach them essential life skills while creating a reassuring and familiar environment.
Fire Drills: We'll practice exiting the building quickly and safely when the fire alarm sounds.
Bus Evacuation Drills: Your child will learn to exit the bus through the emergency door in the back of the bus with the help of familiar adults.
Lockdown Drills: We'll explain how to stay quiet and hidden in case of danger, keeping your child safe.
Our Approach 🌟
We understand that these drills can be intimidating for preschoolers, but rest assured, our experienced teachers will make them engaging and age-appropriate. We'll use simple language, visuals, and games to make practicing fun and effective.
Reinforcing these safety lessons at home can make a big difference. Talk to your child about what they've learned, play games to practice, and reassure them that they are safe. This teamwork will boost their confidence and preparedness.
If you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming emergency drills, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to support you every step of the way.
Thank you for trusting us with your child's safety!
iPad Explorers
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and interactive learning experiences, we will be sending a weekly iPad activity designed to combine technology with family bonding.
PLEASE TAKE 2 minutes to scan and answer 4 quick questions about orientation!
