Schoology Learning Management System (LMS)

Schoology is Seattle Public Schools’ learning management system. Schoology offers technology to organize content, engage students, and connect to families. Schoology is typically used in secondary classrooms.

  • Teachers may post assignments, messages and calendar items.
  • Schoology allows students and teachers to engage in two-way conversations and class discussions.
  • Teachers can easily share files and links with students, families, and fellow teachers.

First time parent or guardian users can set up an account using the access code found on the The Source.

Parent/Guardian Schoology Access

Parents and guardians must sign up through the Schoology Access Code link found in their Source accounts. Parent/Guardian Schoology and Source Support.


Student Schoology Access

Students do not create Schoology accounts, they will be registered automatically to their teachers’ Schoology courses. Students log in using the Clever Student Portal.

How Students Log in to Schoology (via Clever)

  1. Log in to Clever Student Portal
  2. Click Log in with Microsoft
  3. Enter your full email address (example: 1student@seattleschools.org) and then click Next
  4. Enter your password and then click Sign In. You are now in Clever Student Portal.
  5. Select the Schoology icon to log in to Schoology.

Student Support

Your student’s teacher or school librarian will provide your student’s username, password, and log in assistance.


Schoology Language Settings

To change the Language settings in your Schoology account, navigate to the bottom of the page and click “English”. From here you should be able to choose your desired language. The Schoology mobile app language depends on the Language & Region settings on your device.
