At Seattle JazzED, we believe music education should be affordable to all families, regardless of financial circumstances. You select the tuition amount that works for you. Summer Jazz Foundations

July 8 - 12

Learn to play an instrument in one week! Pick your instrument, begin reading music and learn to play songs in a beginning band. Designed for students with little to no experience! Grades 4-8.


Femme Jazz Summer Camp

July 15 - 19

You'll focus on singing and playing freely, and improvising in a supportive learning environment. Our focus is building community and confidence. Open to all female and nonbinary students on any instrument, including voice, with one year of experience. Grades 6-8.


Summer Second Line Project

July 22 - 26

Get your funk on! This camp is inspired by the long time New Orleans second line tradition. This music is super fun and festive. Think riff-based music. LOUD and PROUD. Music is arranged to be accessible to students with at least one school year on their instrument, up to advanced students. Grades 6-12.


Summer Jazz Ambassadors

July 29 - August 9

Combine performance training with community outreach. Students of ranging age and skill level with an interest in team work and leadership are encouraged to sign up. Music is arranged to be accessible to students with some musical experience on their instrument, up to advanced students. Grades 5-12.


Summer Jazz Lab

August 12 - 16

Join your fellow jazz enthusiasts, leave the sheet music at home, and learn to approach jazz with a holistic understanding of its history and development. Lean on your aural skills to advance your improvisational technique by working closely with faculty in small ensembles, masterclasses, and group discussion. Grades 9-12.
