The American College of Critical Care Medicine (ACCM) is an honorary organization within the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) that recognizes SCCM members whose achievements and contributions demonstrate personal commitment to critical care excellence.

Established in 1988, ACCM seeks to promote collaboration among various specialties and professions involved in critical care. It also serves as a consultative body for the Society, providing expertise in the field of critical care.

Critical care professionals can apply to be a Fellow of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) or be nominated as a Master of Critical Care Medicine (MCCM), both of which are prestigious credentials that demonstrate personal commitment to critical care excellence.
