Public Interest Fellowship RecipientsThe South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston (SABA GB) congratulates Alysha Agarwal, the winner of the SABA GB 2023 Law Student Public Interest Fellowship. She is in her second year at Boston University School of Law. This past summer, Alysha interned at the Committee for Public Counsel Services in the Children and Family Law Appellate Division, where she worked with attorneys representing indigent clients in their custody related cases. Alysha was chosen as the public interest fellow because of her demonstrated commitment towards fighting for justice for clients in a broken system. Each $5,000 Fellowship award enables a law student to work in otherwise unpaid summer internships with community and public interest organizations. SABA GB is proud to award the Fellowship to Alysha, and to support her career. PAST FELLOWSHIP RECIPIENTS |
