Sun S just seriously, such a wonderful film. thought-provoking, beautiful cinematography, and endearing and complex characters. could remind anyone of home Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/23 Full Review Picotine P Sweet story capturing some of the legacy of 400+ years of genocide on a small reservation in northern Quebec. The movie is sweet and powerful; it follows the lives of 2 girls navigating the trauma and realities of growing up Indigenous in Canada. The movie audio is in Innu and French with English subtitles. Highly reccomend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/10/22 Full Review Audience Member Rough on the edges, confusing on some of it subparts but dramatically intense, well acted and full of astonishing visuals. The first act is sumptuous with striking visuals, in deep yet with a few words relationships characterization and strong build up to the turning point. The the movies loses a little of its striking force, not helped with that french from quebec that might have needed more subtitles, but ends beautifully in full emotional bloom.
