The Nissan driver, Lindsey Lowry, 36, of Winterville and her passenger, Jonathan Jackson, 24, were both transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation, but charges are pending against the driver of the Trailblazer, the Patrol said.

Alcohol was not a contributing factor to the wreck, according to the report.
