The Old Westbury women's basketball team defeated Pratt Institute by a score of 75-56 in a non-conference contest on Friday evening.
How it Happened
- Old Westbury held the advantage in rebounds 67-29. The difference in the game came from the 32 offensive rebounds for Old Westbury, 13 by Ja'nya Flash, which led to 19 second chance points.
- Old Westbury a strong first quarter, outscoring Pratt 21-4. Pratt closed the gap by winning the second quarter to make the score 35-24, in favor of the Panthers at halftime.
- Kinako Miyake scored eight three-pointers for Pratt.

- Melinda Harris led the Panthers with a triple-double. She scored a career high 22 points, with three three-pointers, along with 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
- Ja'nya Flash scored a double-double with 19 points and 19 rebounds.
- Kasiobi Okenwa scored a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
