Scheduling Reduced Class Meetings - 1/26-2/9

Faculty scheduled to teach twice-weekly classes on campus are being encouraged to help reduce density by meeting once per week for the first two weeks of the Spring 2022 semester (Jan. 26-Feb. 9, 2022) . 

Faculty who reduce course meetings from twice a week to once a week should follow the schedule below when conducting in-person meetings of classes:

• Mondays:  Periods 1, 3, 5, 7
• Tuesdays: Periods 1, 3, 5, 7 
• Wednesdays: Periods 2, 4, 6, 8
• Thursdays: Periods 2, 4, 6, 8 

Classes which meet only once a week (hybrid/blended) should meet on days, times and rooms posted in the course schedule. 

Faculty members who are reducing the number of class meetings during this two-week period must report their changes should be reported to the respective dean or director of each school no later than January 24, 2022 and posted to each course’s respective shell by that same time.
