CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Northland Public Library, whose mission is to enable, empower and encourage lifelong learning and discovery in a safe, welcoming space for all, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities for this position include assisting library patrons with a variety of services and performing circulation tasks such as charging and discharging materials. This is a 20 hour/week part-time position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening and weekend hours. The starting rate for this position is $12.00/hour with an increase to $13.00/hour after an introductory period. We offer paid medical leave and retirement benefits as well as the additional items listed here: vacation and paid holidays.
- Federal Criminal Background Check, PA Criminal Record Check, and PA Child Abuse History Clearance are required upon offer of employment.
- A 10-year driving record is required for this position due to occasional offsite work.

Open since 1968, Northland Public Library is the second largest library in Allegheny County. The library aims to serve as the primary community connection for more than 90,000 residents of our five supporting municipalities—Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, Marshall, McCandless, and Ross. As a member of the Allegheny County Library Association, we provide service to our supporting communities as well as all Allegheny County residents.
