Marissa Vigevani joined the NBC5 First Warning Weather Team in June 2023. She was raised in Canton, Massachusetts, and has always been passionate about the weather and giving back to the local community. A New England Native, she was all too familiar of the “Snow Blitz of 2015” down in Boston, where 119.7 inches fell in just 3 weeks.

To fulfill her dream of becoming a TV meteorologist, she attended Plymouth State University and graduated in May 2023 with a BS in Meteorology with a minor in Professional Communications. In her collegiate career, she was avidly involved in the local chapter of the American Meteorological Society. She held three executive board titles within the organization including Presidency in her senior year.

At Plymouth State she also broadcasted the weather to the local television in the area, Pemi-Baker TV.

When Marissa isn’t looking at the weather models or the sky, she enjoys hiking, skiing, playing soccer, and cooking delicious Italian meals.
