Ceremony Information

Tickets are not required for guest admission to the Spring 2024 Commencement ceremony.

We do ask that degree candidates RSVP for the ceremony (see below) to ensure we plan for adequate seating on the main floor.

As a reminder, to speed the entry process through the event’s metal detectors, we request -- but don’t require -- graduates and guests leave their bags and purses in their vehicles. Please leave cell phones and keys in your pockets when going through the metal detectors.

Doors will open at 8:10am

Candidate must be checked in for Lineup by 9:10am

Processional begins at 9:40am 

Ceremony begins at 10:00am

  • Undergraduates -  Shroyer Gym
  • Masters- South Tunnel Hallway 
  • Doctoral Graduates- Taping room in the South Tunnel
  • Faculty - North Tunnel

 

Afternoon Ceremony: 

College of Agriculture

College of Education, Health, and Human Development

Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering

Gallatin College

Doors will open at 12:40pm 

Candidate must be checked in for Lineup by 1:40pm 

Processional begins at 2:10pm 

Ceremony begins at 2:30pm

Please note: The deadline for Spring graduation applications was October 1st. Late applications are not guaranteed to appear in the commencement program. If you have applied after the deadline and would like your name included in the commencement program, please email [email protected]

After the ceremony, take pictures with your family and friends in photographic locations around campus. Use #CatGrad23 on your social media posts so we can celebrate this accomplishment with you!

Five-Step Graduation Process

  1. Perform an Evaluation in DegreeWorks.
  2. Turn in an Online Application via MyInfo for graduation. 
  3. Participate in Priority Registration for the upcoming semester.
  4. Attend your Commencement ceremony (optional).
  5. Receive your Diploma to the mailing address you provide in MyInfo.

Friday, December 13th, 2024 

Processional begins at 9:40am

Know Before You Go To Commencement 


Spring 2024: Friday,May 10th

Morning Ceremony: 10:00am

Afternoon Ceremony: 2:30pm

Location: Brick Breeden Fieldhouse

Doors will open to the public at TBA

 

Parking on campus is Free on the day of Commencement.  Bobcat Lot 15 (Fieldhouse), the Garage (Lot 10), Bobcat Lot 11, and the Stadium Lots (20 & 25) are all great options for parking in vicinity of the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony there will be loud nosies with music and  a ballon drop happening. 

No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside the venue. Concessions will be open during the ceremony.
