Overview

Kyle Ryman is a combat veteran focusing on high-stakes intellectual property and business disputes. He regularly gets called to represent startups and entrepreneurs against some of the world’s largest companies.

Kyle knows how to win. He is a “go-to” attorney for appeals, critical motions, and case strategy in matters that clients cannot afford to lose. He clerked for the Honorable Don R. Willett of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and also the Honorable Nathan L. Hecht of the Supreme Court of Texas. Kyle also has experience before the United States Supreme Court. In law school, he was selected to be part of Texas Law’s Supreme Court Clinic, gaining experience in cert and merits-stage briefing in the Court.

Kyle is also deeply involved in developing the next generation of leaders. As a veteran and former startup founder himself, he regularly advises founders creating the future. He’s also an active member of the Texas Law Veterans Alumni Association. There he focuses on building a community of high-performing veterans in the law.

Before law school, Kyle served in the United States Army. Commissioned as an Infantry Officer from Texas A&M, Kyle led troops in combat twice in Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division. Kyle led three companies in nearly eight years of active service. Among other things, he is a Ranger School graduate, and two-time recipient of both the bronze star medal and meritorious service medal.
