Description
Todays' event will focus on human trafficking within the state and nation, as well as the opioid epidemic's impact and laws surrounding this issue.
Objectives:
At the end of this program, participants should be able to: 1. Describe the role of human sex trafficking and risk for HIV acquisition and transmission. 2. Compare and contrast human trafficking vs. smuggling vs. adult sex work.

Nursing: This continuing education activity has been provided by the WV Regional Partner of the Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education and Training Center for 1.2 contact hours. The WV Regional Partner is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the State of West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses. Social Work: Social Work Hours are provided by Concord University Social Work Program for a total of 1.0 Social Work credits. Provider Number 490047
