Amazing day yesterday of giving back in the community and recognizing the selfless work of so many others. We had the honor last night of showing our appreciation to 40+ volunteers of United Hatzalah of Israel from so many areas throughout Israel, who collectively are on the streets 24-7 saving lives. We partnered with our dear friends at Bodega, the wonderful Oppenheim family (James Oppenheim), who prepared an incredible meal with love for each volunteer - one of their signature burgers (labeled exclusively with appreciation to the volunteers), fries and a drink of choice. We spent time together for about two hours, learned about their activities, and publicly thanked them for their holy work and service. Great to have so many staff and leaders from Hatzalah on hand who made the effort to come out and enjoy this time together. Also very special to have various members of our DLA team on hand (including our honorary member, Ranan Lustman).
