Founded in 2016, ICONAC now serves ~200 creative artists. Our musician clients have performed at legendary venues and festivals such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Glastonbury, Download, and Tomorrowland. Our Hollywood clients have worked on films such as Mulan, 8 Mile, X-Men, and Jason Bourne series. We represent artists from 20+ countries and have offices in New York, Los Angeles, and London.

About the Role

As an Accounting Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s success because the foundation of every business starts with a good set of books. You’ll make a positive impact by keeping track of income and expenses and keeping artists organized so that they can focus on creating, entertaining, and shaping the world.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

●     Maintain the customer’s accounting records inclusive of issuing sales invoices and AP/AR management.

●     Prepare Artist tour accounting and commission calculations

●     Reconcile client’s bank, credit card, and financial accounts

●     Review and clean up our client’s general ledger accounts and review income and expense coding

●     Prepare financial reports, tax estimates, VAT Returns and assist with process improvements

●     Assist in onboarding new clients by helping to clean up messy books

●     Provide excellent customer service to the group of clients you’re assigned to

●     Deal with the customer on the front line and answer any questions that they may have

●     Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of all tasks related to a group of clients that are assigned to you

What You Need to Succeed

●     You are AAT Qualified or ACCA Part Qualified

●     You can deliver spectacular customer service and you have experience in a customer-facing role

●     You are comfortable and excel working as a part of a remote team

●     You are exceptionally detail oriented and organized

●     You have at least 2+ year of bookkeeping experience

●     You are tech-savvy

●     You are a problem solver

●     You are a clear communicator

●     You are able to and like working in a fast-paced environment

●     You are a pro at bank reconciliations and reconciling messy books

●     You have experience using cloud accounting software (Xero, QBO, etc)

 Our Recruitment Process

If your profile meets our requirements, you will be invited to a three-stage interview process where we will learn about your experiences and assess our cultural fit. It’s also a unique and fun experience for you to learn about ICONAC and picture your future career working side by side with famous artists and innovative accounting professionals.

1. Video introduction: 3-5 introductory question prompts will be given, and you can record your answer in any video format with a limit of 5 mins.
2. Zoom interview: You will be interviewed by your manager and colleague. The interview takes 45-60 mins and you will be asked mainly fit and behavioral questions.
3. Skill test: Finally, you’ll be invited to complete skills test for us to gain a better understanding of your personality, accounting, and problem-solving skills. You will be paid for your time doing the tests.
