How can branding help resolve conflicts with clients?
Yes, your visual brand identity and the related elements like voice and message are important, it’s also critical to be clear about what you do and don’t do. I tell prospects up front “if you’re looking for someone to just go and do, that’s not us. You bring us in when you want someone in the trenches with you solving big problems.” Setting that expectation up front - that we’re not an execution firm - helps everyone understand the nature of our ideal relationship from day one. If you don’t set those expectations early on, it’s very hard to restructure the relationship if the train starts going off the tracks.
