Newsjacking! A great way to ensure timeliness is to follow the news and if there is a news story within your area of expertise, to publish a real-time blog post, video, or post here on LinkedIn. I call this technique "newsjacking", a concept I pioneered more than a decade ago. Newsjacking is now so popular that the word is listed in the Oxford English Dictionary. Speed is important with newsjacking!
