At the end of last week, #EASA hosted the first EU Aviation #Fuel Stakeholders Forum for relevant stakeholder groups. Even with increased use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (#SAF), fossil fuels will still have a considerable share in the aviation fuel mix in the coming decades. That’s why EASA wants to strengthen cooperation between European fuel stakeholders, with the aspiration of optimising the jet fuel composition to respond to #environmental challenges. Today at AERO Friedrichshafen, #EASA signed a PAC (Pre-Application Services Contract) with AURA-AERO. This is EASA’s first cooperation on electric commuter aircraft! The #ReFuelEU #Aviation Member States Network held its 2nd meeting with representatives from #EASA Member States this week.   Focusing on the technical implementation of ReFuelEU Aviation, including reporting obligation cycles for aircraft operators, aviation fuel suppliers, and EU airport managing bodies, this important meeting advances our commitment to achieving Ever Safer and Greener Aviation.   We presented an update on the developments under our new ReFuelEU Aviation remit.
