Dear LinkedIn Network,
I hope this message finds you well. Today, I'm reaching out with a special request that's close to my heart.
Back in 2017, our family had the privilege of hosting an exchange student from Ukraine, Viktoriia Zakharova. She was not just bright, but exceptionally so—fluent in five languages and excelling in advanced coursework. Fast forward to today, she's graduating from Swarthmore College in May, holding degrees in Computer Science and Environmental Science.
Due to the current situation in Ukraine, returning home isn't a safe option for her right now. That's why I'm turning to my network to help her find opportunities here in the US.
Here are some quick stats:
*Majors: Computer Science & Environmental Studies
*Visa: Not required
*Location: Open to relocation / remote work
*Availability: July 2024
*Spheres of Interest: Sustainability, IT Security, Project Planning
*Job Titles: Environmental Consultant, Security Analyst, Operations Analyst, Project Management
She's already gained valuable experience working in Swarthmore’s IT department for several years and completed a paid internship last summer. Now, she's eager to leverage her skills and make a meaningful impact.
If you know of any roles that align with her interests and qualifications, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via DM. Even if you're not aware of any openings, your support in sharing this post with your networks would be immensely appreciated.
Together, let's help her kickstart this new chapter of her career!
Thank you,
Scott

Sandy I love this! Do you find it effective in its footer position? Or, do people read and just respond because they don't scroll down far enough to see it? Especially if read on a mobile device.
