Our thoughts and support are with our colleagues and partners as we navigate the Coronavirus {COVID-19} in China and across the world. Our number one priority is their health and safety. The GE Healthcare team is fulfilling the urgent need for medical equipment by prioritising providing, installing and servicing technology where it’s needed most. In total, GE has donated approximately $2.8M (RMB 20 million) worth of resources and medical equipment to support China, including to the Wuhan Red Cross. This week I was encouraged to see some of the progress in these efforts, including the way our Beijing team came together to meet increased medical demands by finishing building a Revolution Maxima CT (shown here) to send it to a new hospital in Wuhan. I’m proud of the work our teams do today and every day. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and do all we can to support our employees, partners and communities in China and around the world.
