BHI sponsored, attended, and presented at the Land and Water Summit last week. The L&W Summit brings professionals from various fields together to discuss sustainable practices in land and water management. The 2024 event featured speakers who shared their expertise on upgrading, retooling, adapting, and innovating systems to safeguard land and water resources. BHI presenters gave two standout presentations that were well-received. (Great job Rob and Rifka!) And thank you to the Land & Water Summit Conference Committee for hosting another fantastic event! We'll see you at the next one!

Bohannan Huston sponsored and volunteered at this year’s Annual Math Counts event. This event was organized by the National Society of Professional Engineers Northern NM Chapter and took place on February 24 at Pojoaque High School. We had the privilege of watching about 40 talented students from four Los Alamos middle schools showcase their math skills in the competition. These students are the future generation of engineers and scientists, and we couldn't be more proud to support them! MATHCOUNTS is a national middle school math competition that encourages positive attitudes about math. But it's not just about solving equations and crunching numbers - it's also about having fun! We were thrilled to see the students' problem-solving skills in action. We can't wait to see what these students will achieve in the future!

The 4th Street Revitalization project is a collaborative effort between the Village of Los Ranchos and the Bohannan Huston team that seeks to improve the area from Pueblo Solano to north of Ortega Road. The Phase 2 improvements include a more navigable roadway with one lane in each direction, a proposed roundabout at El Pueblo to improve traffic flow, and intersection upgrades that will facilitate movement around the area. The goal of these improvements is to create a safer, more welcoming environment for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, and to enhance the identity of 4th Street. To bring the vision to life, the BHI Visualization team created a detailed 3-D animation. This animated fly-through provides a realistic glimpse of the proposed roundabout and other improvements, offering a clear picture of what's to come and what it could look like. It's an excellent tool to see how these changes will transform 4th Street into a more functional and welcoming space for the community. WATCH: https://lnkd.in/g2fEWQHD
