(LifeSiteNews) – A new initiative is urging people around the world to take concrete actions, such as using cash and supporting local farmers, to preserve basic freedoms that are increasingly under attack.

The initiative Reignite Freedom aims to “implement global, unified, and strategic pushback against the globalist agenda, ensuring we maintain our individual and collective liberty.”

Their launch crew consists of well-known critics of the “Great Reset” agenda, including Drs. Peter McCullough and Robert Malone, former Pfizer executive Michael Yeadon, and lawyer and author Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. The team also includes Catholic leaders such as Australian freedom fighter Monica Smit, The Remnant editor Michael Matt, and Austrian Catholic activist Alexander Tschugguel.

The “Great Reset” is an initiative of the World Economic Forum to radically change the world, with COVID-19 as a supposed impetus.

In order to achieve their stated goal, Reignite Freedom lists three steps:

  1. Create a way for leaders and experts from all over the world to collaborate effectively.
  2. Connect people to their local community groups and events.
  3. Empower individuals by being a part of something global – THE GLOBAL WALKOUT

“ONE STEP AT A TIME, hand in hand, we will walkout from the globalist society [into which] they are trying to enslave us,” The Global Walkout’s website says.

The idea of the movement is to work against the globalist agenda by taking steps to become more independent from big corporations and governments and build more self-sustainable structures.

If millions were to act in unison, they could affect the globalists’ back pockets and elites might have no choice but to listen, according to the initiative’s mission statement.

Every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. London time, the Global Walkout announces a new step. The first step, “Keep Cash Alive,” announced on September 4, 2022, encourages everyone to use only cash whenever possible and to hand out small cards explaining the reasons to use cash.

The second step, “Reignite farming,” was announced on September 11. In the introduction video for this step, narrated by Monica Smit, a Dutch farmer encourages viewers to buy from local, family-owned farms and grocery stores and to buy food that is locally grown.

The pro-freedom activists also provide cards that can be printed out and handed to cashiers or shop owners. The cards read:

I spent money here today intentionally. Why?

  • To support our local farmers, small businesses, and/or markets to boost our local economy.

  • If we do not support local producers, then we become totally reliant on multinationals for our food supply. The international food supply chain can be shut down at any time

  • Did you know that some governments (i.e. Canada and Holland) are seeking to restrict the use of nitrogen-based fertilizers which would have a significant impact on crop yields and farm financial viability?

  • Local produce is often healthier, and fresher, and more thought goes into the products.

The next step of the Global Walkout movement will be announced on September 18.

So far, over 60,000 people from over 102 countries have pledged to join the global walkout and carry out the proposed steps for independence to the best of their abilities. People who want to join the Global Walkout movement or receive their newsletter can sign up here. Reignite Freedom also sells various merchandise.
