We are raising money to help support the local football club.

Fenstanton Football Club is run by unpaid volunteers who provide Football training to over 250 children in the local community. To do this it relies heavily on donations to the club as it receives no public funding. The donations allow equipment to be provided to the children at minimum cost to them to ensure access is available to all children irrespective of background so anything you raise will certainly help.

We were both luck enough to have secured a place in the London Marathon for April 2020 and then COVID struck. Since then the training went on hold until we found out there is a virtual London Marathon which we have both entered. It would be a lie to say the training had been maintained so completing it will be an even bigger challenge than it would have been. Given the misery of 2020 this just seemed a real chance to try and help the local community.
