Robert C. GOEDECKE - 11/20/52 - 10/21/01 Our beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, and loyal friend to countless many, left us suddenly and tragically Sunday evening, October 21st while at home with his loving family. Bob was an eighteen-year employee of UPS. His remarkable spirit, unique sense of humor, strength of character, unyielding generosity, gentle nature, and strong devotion to family and friends set him apart from the rest. Our loss is great; our sorrow is deep.

 

We cannot imagine life without him, but will carry on with so many happy memories to comfort us. Left behind to mourn his death and honor his life are his devoted wife, Chris, daughters Faith (Dennis) Westlake, Jennifer and Crystal Goedecke; sister, Kathi Hardwick; brothers, Gary (Sharon), Skip, and Richard (Janet) Goedecke; aunt, Helen MacPherson; nieces and nephews Matthew and Amber Hardwick, Corinne (Zac) Underwood, Darcy Goedecke, Brock Goedecke, great niece and nephew Cierra and Kaden Underwood, his precious granddaughters, Carli and Ezra Westlake, the Sauer family (Harriett, Sue, Sally, Bill, Barb, Gina, Sean) and most of all his steadfast companion, his dog "Kenny". Enjoy your vacation, Bob ... Mother and Dad Are waiting for you in the clubhouse. We love you, and will see you again.

 

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001 at Acacia Cemetery, 14951 Bothell Way N.E., Lake Forest Park, WA. A reception will follow at the family home, 15326 72nd Ave. N.E., Kenmore, WA. 98028.
