Biography

Representative Rachel Khanna has been a resident of the 149th district for over 20 years. She is a community advocate, entrepreneur, triathlete, and the parent of four daughters.

Rep. Khanna was born and raised in France and moved to the United States when she was 8 years old. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and Columbia University and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science. Rep. Khanna worked in marketing at Euromonitor International and Morgan Stanley Asset Management.

In 2007, she launched a small business, an organic meal delivery service, based in Banksville and serving Greenwich and Stamford, and has published two cookbooks. Most recently, she served on the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting (RTM), the town legislative body, for four years as a representative for District 10.

Rep. Khanna was elected to the State House, 149th District in 2022 and is a member of the Appropriations Committee; Government, Administration, and Election Committee; and the Transportation Committee.
