How many is too many when it comes to partners and people you love? Eleonora thinks there's no such thing as too many...Eleonora - Ellie or Nora or Leo, depending on who’s calling her name at the moment - has the exact life she wants. No seriously, she does. She couldn’t be happier with her job at the bar she owns with her best friend or her fantastic sex life with her boyfriend, Lucas. Or...with her girlfriend Theo. Hey, she never said it wasn’t complicated, just that she couldn’t picture it any other way. And, that’s not to say that Ellie doesn’t have struggles. Being proudly bisexual and openly polyamorous, she knows what it’s like to be judged, to be written off immediately by a lot of people. But she's gotten used to it. So when Quincy walks into her bar - and then into her bed - she expects just that, another quick judgment about her followed by a fast goodbye. But somehow this gorgeous woman takes Ellie as she is, with all the baggage. And Quincy even wants more. But Ellie isn’t sure she has the time for more, for another set of feelings to consider. There are only so many hours in a day. Plus, she’s not the only one who has opinions about Quincy. Lucas understands, he’s always been the easygoing one. But Theo is pissed, and her jealousy flames higher and higher, threatening to burn Ellie’s whole life down with it. And Theo does have a point, she’s known Ellie a hell of a lot longer. So who is Quincy to walk in and take away more time from Theo and Lucas when their schedule had been working so well?Ellie isn't sure anymore what's worth trying and what needs to just be let go of, walked away from.Who is Quincy to Ellie, and is she worth risking everything for? Because that’s just it. If Ellie can’t find a balance, find a way to juggle it all while keeping everyone happy, then taking the risk could cost her the loves of her life.*Content sex and lots of it - of both the hetero and LGBT variety, language, and more*

Such a strange book – not strange weird or strange bad. Just so different. I am used to reading books about poly relationships as I am a huge fan of the RH genre. But when it comes to RH everyone is normally involved in the same relationship. In Chasing Risks our MC Ellie is actually in 2 separate relationships with 2 people who aren’t even really friends.

Ellie is this really amazingly self aware character. Other than a few hiccups at the end of the book she is always so sure of herself and so aware of her own short comings and strengths. I would honestly love to be like her. She knows what she wants and actually goes about getting it.

She has really great relationships with both her boyfriend and girlfriend and really makes this book for me.

There were times when I really wanted to punch Theo in the face for being such a jealous cow, other times I wanted to kiss Lucas for making this so easy for her and one time when I wanted to jump on Quincy’s tits for giving our lovely Ellie such a terrible ultimatum.

A really interesting read. A really fun, at times deep and really heard to put down book. Give it a go.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. This is my honest opinion and I was in now way reimbursed for this review.

Chasing Risks by Maria Ann Green is a hot, sexy, steamy novel starring a strong, bisexual, polyamorous babe named Eleonora. Eleonora is already dating boyfriend Lucas and girlfriend Theo, when gorgeous Quincy waltzes up to her bar and creates even more desire -- and drama -- in her life. Can she juggle three relationships when she's already spread thin with the two she has?

Maria sure knows how to bring the heat and steam, let me tell ya. I told her this with her last book with a bisexual character, Betting on Love, but I know she's waiting for it to be in a review, too, so... I always thought I was totally straight, but after reading this, maybe I'm not so sure 😂. I always, always love reading Maria's work, as she is a fantastic writer and storyteller. I also appreciate her fearless exhibition of diverse characters with lifestyles that deviate from what society deems as the norm. Another wonderful #ownvoices novel by a creative and talented author.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and also my first with diverse characters, but it's certainly not my last!

I knew it was going to be hot and steamy (very hot and steamy) and the complexity of the characters and the plot made it unputdownable.

Maria has created meaningful supportive and layered characters that become 'friends', but my favorite must be my girl Ellie. At times I felt like I could call her up and go for a coffee to talk about everything she’s got going on and then some!

One of my favorite lines “I’d rather have too much to do, too many to love and be loved by, than not enough.”

Ellie and Quincy stole my heart and I’m here for all of it so thank you Maria for being my first LOL, I am looking forward to reading more of your books.

A fan for life!

Maria Ann Green definitely brings the heat in Chasing Risks both in the “bedroom” and out of it. Lucky for us Green displays polyamory from the female point of view with a male and a female lover. Then Green introduces another female lover into the picture which is a nice departure from the usual reverse harem that is flooding the market today.

Green takes us through the complications of polyamory when communication is not done correctly or when all parties are not truly on board. There are mistakes all around and Green shows this. Chasing Risks is all about taking risks and living the life you want.

I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.

This storyline involves Ellie, Theo and Lucas in a nicely established but complex romantic triangle until Quincy strolls into the picture and everything gets turned upside down. There's sex, drama, jealousy, love and some humour in a plot that had me admiring Ellie's fortitude in keeping up with her day to day living plus hectic love schedule. Read to find out how it all pans out - daily planner required? 4.5 stars for a complicated foursome.
I rec'd an ARC from Booksprout and this is my un-biased and voluntary review.

This is the first book I've read by this author and the blurb was what caught my eye. I love Ellie and how she embraces herself and the two relationships she is in. However, everything takes a turn with Quincy and it's a matter of her figuring out if she can juggle more in her life. I loved the characters and the story was so well written that I found myself being unable to put this down.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
