Jamie Beck liked an answer from Roxane Gay: I recognize good writing when I read it ... mine is not. How do I fix that? Or can't I? I'm 43. It helps to specifically identify what, about your writing, needs improvement. Reading is always the best teacher but I'd also recommend taking classes.
