In Honor of Firefighter Ralph Geter

Hello,

This GoFundMe has been organized following the sad and untimely Line of Duty Death of active member Ralph Geter. Br. Geter was a pillar of the Norwalk Fire Department and local community. Br. Geter is survived by his loving family, wife Ann and three children Joshua, Sydnie and Elyshia. It is our hope that this will provide great financial assistance to his family in this difficult time.

Br. Geter served the Norwalk Fire Department for nearly 30 years. Through his commitment in running the breast cancer fund raiser for so many years, and his unstoppable efforts in selling our yearly breast cancer t-shirts, Br. Geter almost solely raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Norwalk Hospital cancer center. While he accomplished much in his career, he was most well known in the firehouse for having an unrivaled energy and a voice that could be heard for miles when he was around.

Br. Geter had a rare personality that you only come upon once or twice in a lifetime. Our department and lives were made better by having him as a part of it. We ask that you keep his family and the Local 830 in your thoughts and prayers.
