WHO WE ARE
Enabled to Enable is a non-governmental organization that cares for and supports women and girls with disabilities and other vulnerable populations.
We empower women/girls with disabilities and other vulnerable populations through advocacy, training programs and
support services, enabling them to contribute meaningfully
to the growth and development of their own communities, their nations and the world.
Enabled to Enable was initially founded in August 2007 as a support group for women and girls with disabilities.
We envision an egalitarian society void of any form of discrimination/limitation against women and girls with disabilities, other vulnerable women and girls where their rights to life are protected and respected.
To empower women and girls with disabilities, other vulnerable women, and children through advocacy, training programs, and the provision of support services to enable them to contribute meaningfully to their immediate community and global development.
We are promoting positive and independent living among women and girls with disabilities, other vulnerable women and children.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To provide quality, comprehensive, compassionate care and support for women and girls with disabilities, other vulnerable women and girls and link them to essential services that will ensure their overall well-being.
To create awareness on the needs of women and girls with disabilities, other vulnerable women and girls, through social mobilization to create a supportive environment and encourage community participation in field –based interventions.
To network with like-minded organizations in the community and at the regional and international levels, to apply best practices for the benefit of the target groups.
