Canvas Pilot

Fall 2022 Canvas Pilot Program

Registration Dates: Open until August 1

Be at the forefront of the Canvas implementation and help guide CSULB in our transition from BeachBoard! The purpose of the pilot is to bring together a community of instructors who plan to teach in Canvas in the Fall and who will partner with ATS to help identify technical issues and improvements in the new platform prior to Summer 2023.

With support and resources from ATS, Fall pilot participants are encouraged to work in the Summer of 2022 to develop their Fall Canvas courses according to established quality assurance and accessibility standards. If for some reason more time is needed to complete your Canvas course development, BeachBoard will remain available.

Note: There is no obligation to join the pilot program to teach in Canvas.

All instructors who plan to teach in the Fall semester are eligible to participate.

Note: There is no obligation to teach with Canvas if for some reason you are not ready to launch your course in Canvas in Fall. BeachBoard will still be available to you.
