Let's Look at my Designs

Vibrant Florals

With the hot foil plate, I decided to use rose gold foil as shown above and silver foil to the right. With the rose gold, the ink colours I used were softer and achieved this by using the coordinating stencils and very lightly put down the colour with my small blending brush. For the sentiment above, I die cut the Simply Thank You Die and layered it up. For the top and final layer, I lightly brushed some colour onto some cardstock.

For my card to the right, I used stronger ink colours that were cool but vibrant to pop off the silver hot foil.

Hopefully, you will see the difference between the two cards yet I used the same suite of products?

Lacy Doily

The Lacy Doily Die is beautiful!

This can be used in so many ways and it die cuts beautifully.

I used subtle beige cardstock but I could see it in gold, silver or any colour to suit. I decided to go soft and because of how intricate it was I wanted to demonstrate it in elegant form. This idea then needed something bold and elegant to bring it together...the fabulous Fancy Hello Die was perfect. The photo may not pick it up so well, but I die cut a couple of the sentiments in white but for the top layer, I die cut it in shiny black cardstock. It looks amazing in real life! This die is going to be a staple in my stash from now on.

Morning Blooms

The Morning Blooms Bundle includes the Morning Blooms Hot Foil Plate with coordinating stencils. I went out of my comfort zone a little with this card.

Why you ask? Well, I hot foiled in copper, and being the coordinated person that I am, I needed to add a copper back panel. I still don't know if I like it??

Altenew sent me some of their new *extra release 1/4" Ultra Sticky Double Sided Tape which came in very handy here, as I used it to attach my designed panel to the shiny copper panel.. This tape is perfect for when you want to stick a shiny surface.

Bountiful Bouquet - Altenew's 8th Anniversary Release

The Bountiful Bouquet Bundle.....I can not even begin to describe how beautiful this set is. It's a layering stamp set and the set is huuuuuge! So appropriately called Bountiful Bouquet. It also has a matching die.

This release is the second *extra I referred to at the beginning of my post in this hop. This stamp set has been released by Altenew as part of their 8th year anniversary celebrations..

Can you believe it's been 8 years since we first enjoyed Altenew Stamps??

As an extra to celebrate, I created a YouTube video to show you how this card came together, so why not go check it out...click the link below...
