Hannah Mosby O’Brien practices intellectual property law with a concentration on patents, freedom to operate (FTO), trade secrets, licensing, trademark issues, and internet domain disputes.

Hannah advises clients on complex intellectual property and patent litigation with a focus on biomedical and life sciences products and services, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and agribusiness.

As an undergraduate, Hannah was an Honors Program Intern for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Maryland and South Carolina. When she was in law school in Minnesota, Hannah was a research assistant engaged in health, science, and bioethics law and participated in LawSeq, a project conducted by the University’s Consortium on Law and Values. She clerked for two Minnesota law firms before entering private practice.

When she isn’t working, Hannah likes to try new recipes with her husband, play guitar, and spend time with her pets.
