Study Abroad

Experience another country’s culture through one of more than 50 partner programs on six continents.

Cross-cultural experiences can enrich your education—and your life. When you study abroad for a semester or even a year, you’ll live and learn among other students from around the world. Choose from dozens of destinations: “across the pond” in the United Kingdom, “down under” in Australia, and more.

Short-Term, Faculty-Led Programs

Bryant actively seeks opportunities to introduce fresh short-term study abroad programs led by our esteemed faculty. These faculty-led programs provide students with the chance to engage in in-country classroom sessions, immersive site visits, and an abbreviated continuation of in-class learning back on Bryant’s campus for the fall programs that travel in August, and the spring faculty-led programs that travel in January. The programs that travel in May and June conclude with a final assignment upon return. Summer programs follow a similar structure, with pre-departure coursework and in-country learning, capped by a final assessment upon returning home.

Semester-Long Programs

Bryant also offers semester-long study abroad programs. In fact, almost 40 percent of our students who take part in a short-term program go on to participate in a semester-long study abroad program. Students can immerse themselves with a greater sense of independence by studying at one of our various direct partner institutions, or with one of our program providers. Moreover, students who engage in one of our semester-long program options will gain new skills and capabilities beyond those earned sitting in a classroom. Finally, past participants have found their time spent studying abroad to be one of the most meaningful and important during their time at Bryant.
