ALBANY -- While Albany Area Arts Council Executive Director Nicole Williams praised the talent and the art of Albany State University students whose works are the centerpiece of the Arts Council's 18th annual College Art Exhibition, she admitted that the COVID-induced loss of participation by other regional college students was a concern.
Despite the lack of participation by students outside Albany, there was no lack of interest in the exhibit, unveiled at a reception Thursday night at the Arts Council's 215 N. Jackson St. gallery. A large crowd came out to support the ASU program and its students whose works will be on display through May 2.
