Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund

At Adobe we’re committed to enabling “Creativity for All,” empowering people everywhere with access to the tools, inspiration, and support they need to tell their stories. We established the Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund to provide support to creators during times of extraordinary hardship. Because the more perspectives we see, the better the world becomes.

Program overview

In times of uncertainty, people are turning to creative expression to learn, cope, and make an impact. That’s why Adobe is committed to leading the way and enabling ‘Creativity for All,’ empowering professional creators of all backgrounds to have access to the tools, skills, and inspiration they need to continue to create stories and share their diverse and unique perspectives. The Community Fund aims to respond to global events that directly impact the wellbeing of creators, focusing its support on an ongoing issue in order to drive positive impact over a period of time. The Fund may shift its focus to a new issue after this sustained period of support.

Since 2022, we have been witnessing the unprovoked, violent attacks on Ukraine and the tragic loss of innocent lives there As we see this tragedy unfold, we believe we have a responsibility to support creators during the growing humanitarian crisis and refugee situation in the region. We are currently focusing our Community Fund efforts on providing support to creators who have been directly impacted by the unjustified invasion of Ukraine.

Recipients are selected by the Adobe Corporate Social Responsibility team along with subject matter experts whose skills and knowledge in different areas of design, photography, art, and so on give them the tools to assess each submission. In their sole discretion, they choose award winners based on the excellence of an applicant’s work, alignment with Adobe’s core values, the number of applicants, and the availability of funds. In addition, Adobe may, upon further review, disqualify award winners — even after notification — if it determines that an award might generate negative publicity about Adobe or the Community Fund, or for any other reason in its sole discretion. By accepting an award, winners agree to hold Adobe and its respective directors, officers, and employees harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the award.
