The Symposium for the Promotion of Academic and Creative Enquiry, SPACE, is Pitt-Johnstown's annual undergraduate research conference.
The conference provides a forum for Pitt-Johnstown students from all disciplines to present their research, creative projects, or scholarly work to the campus community.
During the event, students from every discipline on campus are encouraged to share the results of their class projects, independent study projects, senior projects, internships, and creative works. They can submit an abstract for an oral presentation, performance (such as a story or poetry reading), or poster presentation.
This year's SPACE conference will be virtual which means that all attendees will join from the comfort of their own home or office using a computer or mobile device. During the event, students will share their work using virtual exhibits that may include live chat sessions and presentations, documents for download, and videos.
We hope you enjoy Pitt-Johnstown's SPACE 2021 Virtual Conference, starting now with information that is available, during the conference with live meeting and chat opportunities, and for 30 days afterwards as our exhibits remain open for your viewing pleasure!
